Hello Stormtroopers, welcome to all things 'Otherside'.
I have always had a profound connection with nature and animals. When I was a child I used to ride my bike up and down the driveway, only to stop and lift my bike over the ants if they were walking in a line. Couldn't have that blood on my hands! I see every plant, insect and animal as no different in worth to myself. It has always been that way, right from birth. I recently accidentally squashed the gecko that lived with me ('Gecky'), and I bawled my eyes out, sang to him while I lay on the floor as he deteriorated, and had to get my Dad to come over and take him away to be put out of agony. My eyes are welling up at the memory.
So... as you can gather I am an incredibly sensitive soul. That is sometimes a blessing, and sometimes a curse. On the blessing side however, I am able to connect easily with life around me, whichever form it takes. As a teen I often had peers seek me out for advice, often about the parts of their life they were unable to talk to others about. I often encounter complete strangers who begin telling me their deepest fears after an exchange of a couple of pleasantries. It has always struck me as remarkable, like I emit some kind of signal that allows them to confide in unusual circumstances.
The instantaneous divulging of others' stories and concerns is one thing, but it goes further. As a young adult I started to find a strange phenomenon emerging. As I would speak with people, I would feel as if I was struck by lightning and information about that person would flow across to them in conversation. I vivdly remember meeting a woman named Shelby at a work function. She was from another company and we started chatting away, within a few sentences I had started talking to her all about her mother, as well as how parts of her personality were influencing particular parts of her life. That was the first proper download that ever came through- we were both equally as shocked at what had transpired. I told her that had never happened before and we both just stood there puzzled and stunned.
Since then I have taken up the Oracle cards, and find them to be a wonderful conduit for the messages to come through. It' never scary, just insightful and sometimes profound. It is quite amazing what happens during the readings. It is completely natural for there to be tears or laughter, it is a soul cleansing experience designed to clear the fog and gain clarity. I love doing it and have serendipitously found it to be one of the more rewarding aspects of my life here on Earth.
